Meet Oliver Edmonds
Meet Oliver (Ollie) Edmonds. He works in livestock operations and is focused on giving our cattle the best opportunity to maximise their performance.
Although he grew up in the city, Ollie’s had a lifelong interest in ag – fuelled by his dad’s career in the red meat sector. After getting his start on a sheep and cattle farm, he’s relishing being part of an entire Wagyu supply chain.
“I’m loving the variety and exposure to different parts of the business and supply chain,” Ollie said. “There are some cool things happening right now, but learning about Wagyu genetics and helping to grow our own fullblood herd feels pretty special.
“What’s really stood out to me is the extra level of care it takes at every stage of the supply chain to produce premium beef. Everyone’s committed to continually raising the bar on quality.”
And his advice for anyone considering a career in ag?
“It’s 100% worth it. Whether it’s working on the land or in the office, there are opportunities for everyone – and some of the best people you could hope to meet. I couldn’t hope for a better career.”
