Connecting with customers and business partners across Asia
It's been a rewarding few months for our sales team connecting with valued customers and business partners throughout Asia, and exploring new opportunities for our premium-branded beef.
Building and maintaining strong relationships is essential to how we run our business. We love spending quality face-to-face time with customers; every trip is a learning experience about our channels and how Black Opal Wagyu is used in-market.
Claire Dyason and Viola Ge recently spent time in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore with distributors, chefs and restaurants, and attended key tradeshows.
Here are just some of the highlights.
In Japan, we visited the team from World Commerce in Osaka – one of our key customers. It was a privilege to meet the founder, Mr Miyatani.
Exhibiting at FOODEX JAPAN with Global Victoria, we met with Austin from Yichi Group in Taiwan and caught up with Harmony Shanghai lead, Angela Chen.Hats off to head chef Marcelo Narveaz and his team for creating such outstanding dishes.
In partnership with our food service distributor Verduno Thailand, Viola presented to 25 chefs from Marriott Marquis Bangkok about what makes our Wagyu so special.
Viola also met with our longstanding Taiwanese partner, Gourmet’s Partner, in Taipei and Taichung, and educated their sales team further on Black Opal for their high-end food service channels.
It was great to be back at FHA-Food & Beverage Singapore connecting with many familiar faces.
A big thank you to everyone for welcoming us. We’re looking forward to returning next week, this time to Hong Kong.
