Strengthening our understanding of Korean business culture

Like any company exporting to global markets, we know that understanding cultural differences is fundamental to good business.

As we continue to explore new opportunities for our premium-branded beef in South Korea, we recently welcomed the Australia-Korea Business Council to our Melbourne office to deliver their Mastering the Korean Business Landscape training.

The customised training strengthened our understanding of Korean business culture. A key takeaway was just how much context matters in Korea – from the way relationships are built to how decisions are made.

Ultimately, for us here at Harmony, exceptional customer service underpins the strong relationships we’ve built in all our markets. The skill is in framing and providing that service in a way each market’s culture responds to best.
