2026 Grampians Grape Escape
The Grampians Grape Escape is one of Australia's most celebrated regional food and wine festivals, and we were thrilled to be part of this year's event.
We teamed up with local Grampians and Wimmera businesses Warrack Butchery, Coal Catering and Flame Brothers to show why Wagyu, fire and coals are a match made in heaven.
Our CEO Anthony Fellows and Sales Manager Rachel Nelson joined Warrack Butchery for a special Black Opal masterclass – breaking down and cooking a carcase over coals.
Meanwhile, Coal Catering served up our MB6-7 Tomahawks, adding their signature touch to elevate the depth of flavour.
Black Opal Wagyu also featured in a range of canapé dishes prepared by Flame Brothers for the Feel Good Friday industry welcome night.
Events like this reinforce why Wagyu offers something for everyone. It isn't just a fine-dining luxury – it's an experience that also brings people together at home, outdoors and over open fire.
